1. How has this program assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals? This program has given me a crash course in the finer points of interneting. Learning new things is always enjoyable and so this was fun.
2. What were your favorite Learning 2.0 discoveries or exercises? One of my favourite discoveries was the Google Docs because I know that it will be useful for some of our patrons. My top favourite thing, that I really liked doing, was setting up the blog. For some reason I liked creating and maintaining it. I like the fact that it is a work in progress...always changing, never the same.
3. Did anything surprise you? It surprised me that this learning took a lot of my time. It also surprised me that the internet had so many offerings that I hadn't tried.
4. Was there enough help available when you needed it? Yup.
5. What could we do differently to improve upon this program’s format or concept? The only problem I had with the program is that, as an LA, there was very little time to sit down and do the lessons on company time. I think it should be something that is formally scheduled. I had one other concern regarding your content in Lesson #23 and this has to do with your choice of YouTube videos...your political persuasion was showing through, to my chagrin.
6. Would you like to see similar training opportunities as new library-relevant technologies emerge? Sure.
7. And, last one, if you could go back in time and tell yourself to either participate in the program or skip it, what would you do? If I knew how much of my own time would be used on this program, I may not have participated. But I DID participate and I DID learn many things, of which I am very thankful. Bravo to all who made this program possible.
8. Was there anything else you thought we should have covered?
At the moment I cannot think of anything else you might have covered in this program.
